The 2015 Yorkshire Triathlon has been confirmed to take place on June 14th 2015!

The Yorkshire Triathlon as been running since 2011 and takes place at the gorgeous location in and around Pugneys Park and Sandal Castle. There are many formats to choose from including:- Olympic, Sprint, Super- Sprint, Team Olympic, Team Sprint, Youth and Junior. This is the ideal triathlon for novice and experienced triathletes alike, with a flat run for the Super sprints but with a challenging undulating course for the Sprint and Olympic bike distances which takes you through some superb Yorkshire countryside. With an open water swim, road bike course and trail run. There were some amazing stories and some great achievements and goals reached on a superb day for all involved.

Set just two minutes from the M1 the triathlon; is easily accessible from both the M1 and M62. Pugneys Park is a great place to bring the family as there are many vantage points to watch the swim, run and transition. The start and finish will be inside the grounds of Pugneys Park where there is a cafe for family and friends. There is ample Car Parking provided with just a short distance from Race HQ, the starting area and transition.

The Course itself is in and around Pugneys Park with the swim taking place in the bigger of the two lakes. The bike course takes place on the surrounding roads and the run course heading round the lake at Pugneys Park up towards Sandal Castle (for the Sprint and Olympic) and back to finish at the main spectator point inside Pugneys Park. Pugneys Park held the British Triathlon Olympic distance Championships in 2006.
